Recently, under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and sponsored by people.com.cn, the press conference on online screening of excellent image promotion films of central State-owned enterprises (SOEs), themed on “Pillars of a Great Power, Striding towards a New Era,” was held at the headquarters of People’s Daily. Four videos produced by China Energy were awarded at the conference. Of those, the group’s image promotion film won the Best Cinematography Award for promotion films, staff video logs “Shendong Coal Machine Repairman” and “As a Central SOE Staff I’m Committed to Creating Benefits for My Company” won the Best Cinematography Award, and staff video log “China Energy Model Worker Xie Ziping” won the Glaring Figure Award.
The promotion films online screening consisted of two sections: corporate image films of central SOEs and video logs of SOEs’ employees. After the activity was launched on May 28, more than 400 corporate image films and some 2,200 video logs were entered. A total of 120 excellent works were selected after rounds of strict and standardized evaluation and comparison through online voting and reviews by a panel of experts.
