At the leadership meeting of China Energy Investment Corporation held on November 29, 2019, an official on behalf the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee announced a decision to appoint Liu Guoyue as board member and chief executive officer (CEO) of China Energy Investment Corporation and remove him from the position as deputy CEO of State Grid Corp. The appointment and cessation procedures will be handled in accordance with provisions of relevant laws and regulations.
