China Energy Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. was recently granted the Awards for Outstanding Achievements of Chinese Enterprises in Reform and Development by China Enterprise Reform and Development Society (CERDS).
CERDS is a national first-class organization established upon the approval of the State Council. Directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, it focuses on promoting the reform and development of Chinese enterprises, with an aim to enhance their market competitiveness, independent innovation capacity and management levels, and enable them to achieve sustainable, healthy development. The Awards for Outstanding Achievements of Chinese Enterprises in Reform and Development, launched by CERDS, aim to honor enterprises that have made remarkable achievements in reform and development in the process of China’s reform and opening up. After three months of strict selection and review, China Energy Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. stood out from more than 500 participating companies for its outstanding achievements in reform, and was granted the award and included in the Collection of Outstanding Achievements of Chinese Enterprises in Reform and Development to be spread and popularized across the country.
For a long time, the company has attached great importance to scientific and technological research and striven to promote the transformation and upgrading of its traditional business. First, it has led the reform of heavy-haul freight train repair procedures and systems, and its intelligent “condition-based” operation and maintenance approach filled in the domestic void, helping to achieve real-time monitoring and precise maintenance and repair of freight trains. Second, its intelligent logistics development mode based on “internet + modern logistics” marks a major innovation of railway logistics, empowers industrial upgrading of areas along the routes with unimpeded logistics services, and even accelerates the adjustment of China’s transportation structure. Third, it has endeavored to promote coordinated development of highway and railway transportation, and taken active actions to explore ways to achieve intelligent consolidation and concentrated transportation of railway front warehouses, so as to gradually realize the most optimal operation and management of highway and railway assets and achieve efficient and compatible allocation and operation of highway-railway-waterway combined transportation resources.
