From November 5 to 10, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. CHN Energy signed cooperation agreements with 35 enterprises from 14 countries and regions, including Mongolia, Indonesia and Australia, with a total contract value of USD 2.741 billion. The agreements cover areas such as high-quality coal, advanced equipment, and green and low-carbon technologies.
As an enterprise that has participated in all eight editions of the CIIE, CHN Energy has signed cooperation agreements worth more than USD 15 billion in total. Over the past eight years, the Group has established stable partnerships with 149 leading enterprises from 23 countries and regions worldwide. Its cooperation has gradually expanded from traditional energy supply to diversified fields such as new energy technologies and low-carbon services.
During this year’s Expo, the Group’s e-commerce platform Guoneng e-Service engaged in targeted matchmaking with 37 exhibitors to establish business connections. The Group’s trading delegation also visited the technical equipment and service trade exhibition zones, where they held in-depth discussions with suppliers on cutting-edge topics including low-carbon transition and artificial intelligence, exploring new areas of industrial cooperation.
International partners spoke highly of their cooperation with CHN Energy. Supplier representatives noted that the two sides have built a model of cross-border technological integration, demonstrating outstanding cross-cultural project management capabilities and localized collaboration, setting a successful example for multinational energy cooperation.
Through the CIIE platform, CHN Energy continues to deepen international cooperation and joint innovation in energy technology. It has played a positive role in ensuring stable energy imports and enhancing upstream resource acquisition capacity, contributing to the high-quality development of the global energy industry.
