As of May 5, the data warehouse of the production management and control platform of Shenhua Shendong Coal Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Energy, had operated for 1,000 days, collecting more than 3.3 trillion pieces of data and laying a solid foundation for intelligent mining.

The intelligent production management and control platform of the Cuncaota No.2 Mine.

The data warehouse began to collect data on August 5, 2019. At present, it has had a total of 780,000 testing points and collected 13TB of data, forming the largest production database in China’s coal industry. The data warehouse is committed to recording data related to coal excavation, power supply, transportation, ventilation, safety monitoring in the company’s 13 coal mines, laying the groundwork for intelligent mining development.

Based on historical and real-time data, developers may conduct immediate analysis on a series of thorny problems in coal mining, such as coal transportation, mine pressure, working face start-stop conditions, energy consumption, and malfunction alerting, so as to track the coal mining process. Through checking data of various equipment collected by the data warehouse of the production management and control platform, miners can monitor the operations of mines in a real-time manner and conduct timely maintenance and repair of weak links of the mining system, thus ensuring safe, stable and efficient production.
