On May 10th, science and technology department of Sichuan province allowed Dadu River Company to construct the research platform, “Sichuan provincial science research center of intelligent hydropower engineering”, and completed public notification. This was the first time that Dadu River Company under CHN Energy had been qualified to establish a provincial research platform, marking new breakthrough in intelligent technology research of hydropower conversion engineering.

In 2022, combining national digital development strategies and Sichuan provincial hydropower industrial characteristics, Dadu River Company started the project on intelligent technology research center of hydropower engineering in Sichuan province due to objective demand for digital transformation in hydropower industry. Standing out 167 declaring enterprises, this project was one of the 32 recognized provincial projects on technology research center and became important components of technology innovation system and technology innovation platform in Sichuan province.
According to plan, the center will carry out key technology R&D of mainly on intelligent hydropower management, intelligent construction, intelligent operation, ecological conservation and data processing. Relevant technology outcomes of the technology center are expected to pass acceptance inspection in a year and their conversion and application be fulfilled in 3 to 5 years.
