Lately, the dry ash berth reconstruction project of the coal terminal of Jiangxi Jiujiang Power Co., Ltd. under CHN Energy passed acceptance inspection, marking the completion and delivery of the first 10,000-ton bulk cargo wharf in Jiangxi Province.

A key engineering project in Jiangxi, it leverages 250 meters of the shoreline of the Yangtze River, with a total investment of about 280 million yuan. Based on the company’s original wharf by the river, a 10,000-ton bulk cargo berth and a 5,000-ton berth were constructed, with an annual throughput capacity of 5.72 million tons, setting a new record in port construction of Jiangxi.
After the wharf is put into operation, it can allow 10,000-ton vessels to berth, and its annual coal unloading capacity will increase from 1 million tons to 5.11 million tons, thus fully meeting enterprises’ production needs, effectively reducing coal unloading costs, and better responding to the increase in large vessels along the Yangtze River.
