Recently, the "Guoneng Sharing" platform, the first-of-its-kind global project integrating floating wind power and fisheries, developed and constructed by the China Energy Longyuan Power, successfully launched in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. It is now being towed to the project site in Pingtan, Fujian, laying the foundation for the project's timely completion and production.

Launch of "Guoneng Sharing"

This project represents the world's inaugural innovative practice of integrating deep-sea floating wind energy with aquaculture. The design and construction of the floating foundation constitute critical phases of the project. Since its inception, China Energy Longyuan Power, in collaboration with design and construction units, as well as reputable domestic universities, established a research and development team for floating foundation design. They conducted a comprehensive analysis considering factors like suitable marine areas, hydrodynamic performance, structural capabilities, design, construction, and installation. After multiple rounds of simulation, modeling, and design optimization, they pioneered a floating foundation type suitable for China's marine areas. Additionally, scaled model experiments were conducted in a controlled water environment, simulating 200 highly authentic working conditions to comprehensively verify the accuracy of key performance parameters. At present, the platform design has obtained the Principle Approval (AIP) certificate from China Classification Society. The design results have been reviewed and verified by professional industry organizations including the China Classification Society and DNV. The platform has been successfully constructed and has satisfactorily completed the inclined test, with the tower equipment manufacturing also concluded.
