CHN Energy Guohua Investment's New Energy Installed Capacity Exceeds 20 Million Kilowatts

From May 18 to 20, CHN Energy Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (Guohua Investment) held the "Gen Z Energy Tour China-Europe" International Corporate Open day in Weihai, Shandong. During the event, it was revealed that Guohua Investment's new energy grid-connected installed capacity has exceeded 20 million kilowatts, and it is expected to exceed 32 million kilowatts by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period.

The "Gen Z Energy Tour China-Europe" series of events organizes young people from Generation Z in Europe to visit representative clean energy projects in Greece and China. Three events have already been held in Alexandroupolis, of Greece, Beijing, and Weihai of Shandong, showcasing the practices Guohua Investment in fulfilling social responsibilities and the cooperation Belt and Road Initiative in China and Europe.

In this event, a visiting group consisting of ten young people from six countries visited the Wanghai Wind Farm, which is CHN Energy's largest offshore wind power project in Shandong, the Rongcheng Wind Farm, which is Guohua Investment's first wind power project in Shandong. The event also organized a China-Greece mountain wind power technology seminar, providing Chinese insights for promoting China-Europe new energy technology exchanges and the development of global wind power technology.

Guohua Investment’s business scope covers wind power, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, energy storage, comprehensive smart energy and investment funds, with business expanding to 28 provincial-level regions across China and overseas in Australia and Greece. The Shandong branch of Guohua Investment operates 17 onshore wind farms, two offshore wind farms, three distributed photovoltaic power stations, and one electrochemical energy storage power station in seven cities including Weihai, Dongying, and Weifang, with a total new energy installed capacity of 4.33 million kilowatts.
