As of December 31, 2024, CHN Energy Ningxia Branch has surpassed its annual targets, achieving significant milestones in power generation, heating output, and coal transportation. The company generated a total of 100.64 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, exceeding the previous year's output by 37.9 million kilowatt-hours. Thermal power utilization hours reached 4,967, leading regional benchmarks. Ningxia Branch also delivered a record-breaking 56.69 million gigajoules of heating output, a year-on-year increase of 3.83 million gigajoules. Furthermore, the company successfully transported 10.55 million tons of coal from Xinjiang to Ningxia, exceeding its 10-million-ton target.
Prioritizing safety and operational efficiency, Ningxia Branch implemented stringent process controls and increased hazard inspections, resulting in an 83-day optimization of construction timelines and contributing to increased power generation. The company also advanced several PV projects, increasing its total operational installed capacity to over 23.6184 million kilowatts.
Ningxia Branch's 14 heating units, responsible for providing heat to 1.09 million square meters across six cities and districts in Ningxia, maintained reliable operation throughout the year. The company implemented robust monitoring and maintenance procedures for heating equipment and network systems and proactively adjusted heating parameters based on weather conditions to ensure residents' comfort during the winter.
In the realm of new energy, Ningxia Branch is focused on developing a large-scale wind and solar base, complemented by distributed photovoltaic, dispersed wind power, and energy storage solutions. The company is accelerating the development of a new power system centered on new energy, leveraging large-scale photovoltaic, wind and energy storage projects in coal mining subsidence areas. Yuanyang Lake power station, a subsidiary of Ningxia Branch, has implemented a comprehensive energy system, utilizing four thermal power units to provide essential resources to over 60 chemical enterprises in the Ningdong New Material Chemical Industry Park.
In terms of outbound coal transportation from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Ningxia Branch's diversified coal transportation strategy resulted in consistently increasing monthly shipment volumes, exceeding the annual target of 10 million tons. This achievement ensured a reliable coal supply during peak winter demand and strengthened the foundation for CHN Energy's integrated coal transportation strategy.
