As of the end of May 2025, CHN Energy has successfully launched five heavy-duty battery swap projects in Datong, Fengcheng, Fangjiazhuang, Zhijin and Kaiyuan. These projects have collectively generated sales of 40.24 million kWh of renewable electricity.

Utilizing standardized battery pack quick-swap technology, these facilities provide energy replenishment for heavy-duty electric trucks, reducing a single swap time to just four minutes.

Each project employs tailored operational models suited to local conditions. The Datong plant leverages on-site distributed renewable power to serve new energy trucks transporting solid waste, achieving total electricity sales of 22.71 million kWh. Fengcheng plant integrates green power resources from its tailrace hydropower station to serve 30 electric coal-transport trucks. Fangjiazhuang plant connects its internal photovoltaic power generation directly to the swap station. Zhijin plant demonstrates high efficiency, capable of serving 65 trucks daily. Kaiyuan plant has cumulatively sold 6.2 million kWh of electricity.

The Group is currently advancing new project construction in Shanghaimiao and Jiangyou, aiming to further expand the scale of its “power generation-plus” battery swap business for heavy trucks. This model effectively promotes local consumption of renewable electricity, addressing challenges like instability and grid integration difficulties often associated with distributed photovoltaic and other renewable power sources.
