Since launching its designated assistance program, CHN Energy has steadily advanced rural revitalization efforts across seven designated assistance counties and two paired support counties. Through multidimensional measures focused on improving livelihoods, fostering industries, strengthening talent development and enhancing ecological protection, the Group has contributed to local economic and social development.

In the area of livelihood improvement, the Group has carried out student growth and development monitoring and vision screening in Nyainrong County, Xizang, covering 1,500 students across the county. In Wubu County, Shaanxi Province, it has implemented drinking water improvement projects for eight consecutive years, resolving the long-standing issue of reliance on rainwater cellars for 70 percent of the rural population.

In terms of industrial support, the Group has leveraged its strengths in clean energy to establish a number of demonstration projects in assisted regions. In Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province, a photovoltaic power station with a total capacity of 7.2 megawatts has been completed. Operating under a model of power generation above panels, farming below panels and reinvestment of returns, the project has increased the average annual income of five village collectives by more than 150,000 yuan (around 21,836USD) and provided sustainable income for 165 formerly impoverished households. In Hongjunshu Village, Puge County, Sichuan Province, a household photovoltaic project generates 790 million kWh of electricity annually. Through a “self-consumption with surplus power fed to the grid” model, it contributes over 400,000 yuan (around 58,229USD) in annual revenue to the village collective economy.

The Group has also applied technological innovation achievements to agriculture. Pingzhuang Coal and Longyuan Power, in collaboration with CHN Energy Technology & Environment Limited, have introduced coal-based new material technologies into agricultural irrigation and forest fire prevention scenarios. Shendong Coal has established a foxtail millet aerospace breeding base in Mizhi County. After introducing an intelligent water and fertilizer system, millet yields have increased by 50 kilograms per mu (around 667 square meters), driving the development of a 150,000-mu (around 100 million square meters) millet planting base and generating annual revenue of 200 million yuan (around 29 million USD).

In talent development, the Group organized various online and offline training programs in 2025, training 64,000 participants. Longyuan Power established an Artificial Intelligence Innovation Laboratory in Youyu County, Shanxi Province, equipped with a cloud-based library to introduce high-quality educational resources into rural schools. Pingzhuang Coal Technical School conducted nearly 5,000 training sessions for electricians and welders, helping individuals who had emerged from poverty acquire practical skills.

In cultural assistance, the Group has continued to organize cultural activities such as Our Village Gala during the Yi Torch Festival in Puge County, Sichuan Province. In Qumalai County, Qinghai Province, it invested 2.7 million yuan (around 393,045USD) to construct a new air-supported sports hall, providing local youth with a venue for winter training and competitions. In Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province, four rural cultural and fitness squares were built, and costumes and props were purchased for the middle-aged and elderly yangko dance troupe in Chuankou Village, Wubu County, enriching local cultural life.

In the area of consumption-based assistance, the Group has built sales networks for agricultural products through e-commerce platforms such as Huicai Mall. In 2025, employees helped sell 397 million yuan (around 58million USD) worth of agricultural specialty products from assisted regions, an 11 percent increase compared with 2024. In Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the Group took the lead in organizing a shopping festival that attracted more than 20 central government entities and over 100 enterprises, generating sales exceeding 50 million yuan (around 7million USD). Through brand cultivation and packaging upgrades, products such as ecological lamb from Youyu County and black sheep from Puge County have achieved premium price increases of more than 20 percent.

In ecological protection, the Group invested 25.8 million yuan (around 3 million USD) in ecological assistance funds in 2025, implementing 11 support projects. In Qumalai County, Qinghai Province, it carried out ecological restoration projects at the source of the Yellow River, including the planting of 20,000 mu (around 13 million square meters) of artificial grassland. It also upgraded the tourism road loop around the Gaduo Juewu area and improved living conditions in post-disaster resettlement sites in Bagan Township. In Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province, it continued advancing the construction of the CHN Energy Carbon Sink Forest Base, expanding afforestation areas. In Butuo County, Sichuan Province, it built the livable and employment-friendly Bozuo New Village, and in Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia, it upgraded infrastructure in Taogutu Village, Xizi Town.

Looking ahead, CHN Energy will further explore integrated development pathways between new energy and agriculture, rural cultural tourism, and other industries, steadily promoting comprehensive rural revitalization and advancing agricultural and rural modernization to new heights.
