Recently, the China Electric Power Construction Association announced the evaluation results of the 2025 Typical Cases of Smart Construction Sites in the power sector. Three new energy projects of CHN Energy Longyuan Power were selected. Among them, the Zhaoyuan Fushan Longwanggou 300 MW Agri-PV Project in Shandong was rated as a four-star typical case, while the Zhongwei 3,000 MW PV Composite Project (Phase II: 2,000 MW) of the Ningxia Tengger Desert-Gobi-Wasteland New Energy Base and the Qingfeng 100 MW Wind Power Project in Henan were rated as three-star typical cases.

The Longwanggou 300 MW Agri-PV Project is located in Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province. Integrating cloud computing, big data, mobile internet and artificial intelligence technologies, the project has established an intelligent management and control system centered on the five key elements of personnel, machinery, materials, methods and environment. Through drone fleet inspections, ground-based mobile monitoring units, AI-powered video recognition and a smart construction platform, the project has built an integrated air-ground-space intelligent management network. This enables digital mapping and intelligent decision-making throughout the entire construction process, effectively addressing management challenges posed by geographically dispersed PV installations.
The Zhongwei 3,000 MW PV Composite Project (Phase II: 2,000 MW) of the Ningxia Tengger Desert-Gobi-Wasteland New Energy Base is a key supporting project for the Ningxia-to-Hunan Ultra-High Voltage Transmission Program. In response to the complex desert construction environment and fragile ecology, the project has established a smart construction management system tailored to desert, Gobi and wasteland scenarios, enabling visualized and refined control over the entire construction process.
The Qingfeng 100 MW Wind Power Project in Henan includes a 110 kV booster station and a 45 MW/90 MWh energy storage system. The project has developed a smart construction site system supported by a unified data platform, applying BIM-based full-process management, integrated air-ground-space monitoring, intelligent equipment supervision and digital traceability for concealed works. During construction, the project achieved zero safety accidents and a 100 percent rectification rate for identified hazards. It also obtained five patents, three provincial-level construction methods and one provincial-level QC achievement.
