Recently, the Red Cross Society of China announced the recipients of the 2025 China Red Cross Contribution Medal, and CHN Energy Baorixile Energy was honored for its long-standing commitment to public welfare and charitable initiatives.
As an energy enterprise based in the Hulunbuir region of Inner Mongolia, Baorixile Energy integrates corporate development with local development by actively engaging in public welfare programs and rural revitalization efforts. In 2025, the company donated a total of 25 million yuan (around 3.6 million USD) to support sports development, charitable causes, infrastructure construction and industrial assistance initiatives.
In the field of sports, the company contributed 100,000 yuan (around 14,492 USD) to support the 11th Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In public welfare and charity, it invested 700,000 yuan (around 101,446 USD) in initiatives including the Bathing Assistance Program, the Starlight Companion for Children Program and the Qiming Assistance Program in the northern part. In terms of public infrastructure, it donated 3 million yuan (around 434,770 USD) to the Ewenki Autonomous Banner for municipal supporting projects, improving local transportation conditions.
In industrial assistance, the company donated 13.28 million yuan (around 1.9 million USD) to Old Barag Banner to support a centralized sheep housing and breeding project, promoting the development of the region’s characteristic animal husbandry industry. It also contributed 650,000 yuan (around 94,200 USD) to the Oroqen Autonomous Banner to establish a traditional Chinese medicinal herb cultivation base, expanding income channels for local residents.
