CHN Energy Xinshuo Railway has completed a total freight volume of 40.729 million tons in the first quarter as of March 30, exceeding the scheduled annual progress target by 44,000 tons. Since the beginning of the year, Xinshuo Railway has advanced integrated coordination and market-oriented reforms, continuously enhancing the synergy among production, transportation and sales. On Xinzhun Railway, the company has explored a platform-based bulk contracting cooperation model, introduced one-stop logistics services, and implemented a unified ticket-based settlement system. Both the daily coal transportation volume and self-loading volume on Xinzhun Railway have reached record highs, with an increase of over 3.3 million tons and a year-on-year growth rate of 78%.

In terms of market development, the company has optimized its integrated logistics contracting model, achieving more than 3 million tons of shipments under this model in the first quarter. Through multiple measures to promote the transportation of externally procured coal, the company fulfilled its first-quarter target for such shipments 21 days ahead of schedule. On March 24, the company’s cumulative annual freight volume not only made up previous shortfalls but also surpassed expectations.

Regarding transport organization, the company dynamically aligned with coal supply demands from mines, optimized wagon configurations, and stationed dedicated personnel on site to monitor coal sources and coordinate yard operations. These efforts helped remove bottlenecks across the entire chain, including resources, yard capacity, transport capacity and loading operations. At key stations such as Sandaoqu, Tanggongta and Longwangqu, operational processes were optimized, wagon allocation was prioritized, and loading supervision was strengthened, resulting in a new record for single-day coal loading volume. All transport units organized loading operations and train connections based on station capacity, with a particular focus on matching shipments of externally procured coal and locally sourced coal. Coordination with local clients and the Taiyuan Railway Bureau was also strengthened to ensure that transportation operations maintained a high level throughout March.
