CHN Energy Ports Development Company, a logistics coordination hub of CHN Energy, handled a total of 71.498 million tons of inbound coal and 71.584 million tons of outbound coal in the first quarter, with both figures increasing by over 11 percent year on year as of March 31, marking the highest level for the same period since the company’s establishment.
Since the beginning this year, CHN Energy Ports Development strengthened coordination with railway, sales and shipping units, enabling precise scheduling of inbound and outbound plans through a real-time production information sharing platform.
The company advanced resource allocation to two northern ports to sustain high-level loading and unloading operations. At the same time, focusing on demand in southern China, it enhanced vessel–cargo matching through customized services, shortened cargo dwell time at ports, and ensured energy supply for southern regions.
In terms of equipment management, the company carried out maintenance operations during production intervals to ensure a high equipment availability rate. It also launched an Accident Warning Month campaign, implementing enhanced management for high-risk operations such as work at height and hot work, while strictly enforcing work permit approvals and on-site supervision.
