The Fourth China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, southwestern China on June 25. During the forum, the China-Germany Joint Project on Carbon Footprint and Sustainability Assessment Methods and Systems for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles, submitted by Guoneng Hydrogen Innovation Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. under CHN Energy, was selected on the list of the first batch of typical China-Europe energy cooperation cases under construction. Meanwhile, Hydrogen Trace Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guoneng Hydrogen Innovation Technology (Beijing) Co., was recognized as one of the typical cases of China-EU energy technology innovation cooperation excellent member entity.
As the lead organization for the hydrogen energy program under the China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation framework, Guohua Energy Investment has long been committed to practical cooperation between China and Europe in the hydrogen sector. The company has undertaken the China-Germany intergovernmental science and technology cooperation project on Carbon Footprint and Sustainability Assessment Methods for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles, funded by China's Ministry of Science and Technology, while actively supporting the China Hydrogen Alliance in establishing the China-Europe Hydrogen Technology Innovation Center. Through research on industrial development, the establishment of innovation platforms and the organization of branding and industry events, the company has carried out a series of initiatives to build a high-quality international platform for hydrogen cooperation.
The project's selection among the first batch of typical China-Europe energy cooperation cases marks another important achievement in Guohua Energy Investment's efforts to strengthen its presence across the entire hydrogen value chain and advance international innovation cooperation. Going forward, the company will leverage the China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation mechanism to further strengthen science and technology innovation, continuously improve standards and evaluation systems for the hydrogen industry, and accelerate the commercialization and implementation of international cooperation outcomes.
