All six generating units at the Daduhe Zhentouba II Hydropower Station have achieved stable operation at all design parameters. Key tests, including grid-connected commissioning and closed-loop rectification of equipment defects, were successfully completed, and all units officially entered commercial operation on September 4.
Daduhe Zhentouba II Hydropower Station
The Daduhe Zhentouba II Hydropower Station is located along the main stream of the Daduhe River in Jinkouhe District, Leshan, Sichuan Province in southwest China. It is the 22nd hydropower station in the cascade development plan for the main stream of the Daduhe River. Since the generating units began commissioning, all parties involved in the project have strictly implemented safety and quality control requirements and advanced key tasks in an orderly manner, including system commissioning, performance verification, and the investigation and rectification of potential hazards. All units have operated stably, with their technical indicators meeting applicable standards and grid-connection requirements, enabling the reliable and continuous transmission of clean electricity over the long term.
The Daduhe Zhentouba II Hydropower Station has an average annual power generation capacity of 1.503 billion kilowatt-hours. The commercial operation of all its generating units marks the station's entry into a new stage of large-scale, commercial power generation and operation. It will further complete the cascade hydropower development chain along the Daduhe River basin and promote the intensive, standardized and efficient development and utilization of the basin's hydropower resources.
